About This Series

The 50 State Quarters Program released five unique reverse designs per year, one for each state in order of admission to the Union. Designed to encourage coin collecting, the program produced over 34 billion quarters and became the most successful numismatic outreach effort in U.S. history. Both Philadelphia and Denver strikes, along with San Francisco proofs, are collected by date and mint.
