Browsing & Search

Use the search bar on the catalog page to find coins by name, year, mint mark, or error type. Filter and sort results to narrow down exactly what you need.

Portfolio Management

Track your collection by adding coins to your portfolio. Create multiple portfolios, import from CSV, and share your collection with others.

Community Submissions

Contribute to the catalog by submitting new error coins or strike types. Provide images, descriptions, and cross-references for community review.

Voting & Vetting

Help validate community submissions by casting your vote. Your votes count toward the verification process and earn you Numiscore points.

Numiscore & Tiers

Earn Numiscore by submitting, voting, and participating in the community. Progress through tiers from Novice to Expert to unlock new privileges.

Add to Home Screen

NumisDex is designed to work great on any device. Add it to your home screen or desktop for quick, app-like access — no app store needed.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

Open numisdex.community in Safari.
Tap the Share button (square with arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
Edit the name if desired, then tap "Add".

Android (Chrome)

Open numisdex.community in Chrome.
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Tap "Add to Home screen" (or "Install app").
Confirm by tapping "Add".

Windows / Linux (Chrome or Edge)

Open numisdex.community in Chrome or Edge.
Click the install icon in the address bar (or go to Menu → "Install NumisDex...").
Alternatively, bookmark the page: press Ctrl+D and save to your bookmarks bar for one-click access.

Mac (Safari or Chrome)

In Safari: go to numisdex.community, then click File → "Add to Dock" (macOS Sonoma+) or drag the URL from the address bar to your Dock.
In Chrome: click the install icon in the address bar, or go to Menu → "Install NumisDex...".
