About This Series

Introduced to honor President Franklin D. Roosevelt shortly after his death, designed by John R. Sinnock. Roosevelt's connection to the March of Dimes made the denomination particularly fitting. These silver dimes were produced at Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco through 1964, the last year of 90% silver coinage for circulation.
