Description
The 1964-D Doubled Die Reverse DDR-001 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1964 (D) Roosevelt Dime, part of the Roosevelt Silver Dimes 1946-1964 series. Die markers: UVC-455 DMR-003 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Die clash through olive branch – MDS Obverse is MDS Stage C: Reverse and Obverse are LDS Stage D: Die crack from Right side of O of ONE to rim – VLDS Die crack from bottom of Right stem to rim through IM of DIME Obverse is VLDS. Cross-referenced as FS-801. Obverse is ODV-011 (Blunt 9). FS-801 (18.5).
