About This Series
Gold coins produced in Salt Lake City under the authority of Brigham Young and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Denominations of $2.50, $5, $10, and $20 were struck to serve the isolated Utah Territory's economy. The coins feature the All-Seeing Eye and clasped hands designs. These territorial issues circulated until federal authority extended to Utah.
