D/D/D South + Tilted (Rotated)Die Markers: Obverse: Heavy, slightly curved die gouges above the head. Large die gouge behind the head. N/S die scratches in front of the face and between the I and B in LIBERTY. Nw/SE die scratches through IGWT. Criss-crossing die scratches above the date. Reverse: Light feeder finger scrapes through the TA in STATES. Curved NW/SE die scratch from the I in PLURIBUS to the mintmark D. Strong die scratches SW from the mintmark D to the NE in ONE. N/S die scratches between the oak branch and AMERICA. Short N/S die scratches right of the flame.Submitted By: Scott HollidayCross References: None known Obverse: Large die break on the nose. A few short NW/SE die scratches in the hair at the back of the head. N-shaped die scratches behind the head. Short N/S die scratch in front of the bridge of the nose. Large die gouge well above the right side of the 5 in the date. Reverse: Strong N/S die scratch between the upper torch and the upper oak leaf cluster. A few strong die scratches extend SE from the flame. N/S die scratches between the rightmost two oak leaf clusters. Weak N/S die scratches through the olive branch. Die gouge between the tops of the T and E in STATES. Die gouge above the right side of the M in UNUM. Die gouge touches the upper left side of the first U in PLURIBUS.
