Description
1956-D WRPM-004 is a repunched mint mark on the 1956-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. Wexler describes it as D/D Tilted (Rotated). Right of the designer's initials are two N/S scratches, and a scratch heads north off the forehead, passing to the right of LIBERTY's Y. The reverse shows a N/S scratch nearly centered within the O in OF, and a S by W scratch that starts at the lower left of the oak branch and crosses UNUM's first U. Eric Axtell submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
