About This Coin
The 2015 Presidential Dollar is a United States dollar from the Presidential Dollars 2007 to Date series. In 2015, the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco Mints struck about 45.5 million Presidential dollars, each issue counted once whichever way its edge lettering runs. The obverse features rotating portraits of each U.S. president in order of service, released four per year and the reverse displays the Statue of Liberty. Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Lyndon B. Johnson were honored. The Kennedy dollar is collected alongside the Kennedy Half Dollar for a complete set spanning two denominations. Weighing 8.1 grams, 26.5 mm in diameter, with a lettered edge.
