The 2015 (D) Presidential Dollar - Harry S. Truman, Position A is a dollar produced at the Denver Mint as part of the Presidential Dollars 2007 to Date series. The U.S. Mint produced 5.2 million examples, making this ranked 3rd of 16 mint variants by mintage, with 5% of production. The obverse features rotating portraits of each U.S. president in order of service, released four per year and the reverse displays the Statue of Liberty. The thirty-third President (1945–1953), Harry S. Truman made the momentous decision to use atomic weapons to end World War II, implemented the Marshall Plan to rebuild Europe, and led the nation into the Korean War. Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Lyndon B. Johnson were honored. The Kennedy dollar is collected alongside the Kennedy Half Dollar for a complete set spanning two denominations.
