Description

Trail lines are seen from the bottom of the letters WE TRUST. Also seen are trail lines from 18th and the PRESIDE of PRESIDENT. The offset direction is 240°.

Die Markers

• Stage “B“, obverse is MDS – a small die crack is seen from the left brow into the field. Another small die crack is seen from the wave of hair under the M of JAMES entering into the field. The obverse die does have “Dimples” from the bottom of the letters in the name JAMES GARFIELD.
• Reverse is MDS – none noted.
