2007 (D) Wyoming State Quarter - D(WY)-25DER-001T Trail Die Reverse

Description

Moderate trails turn up all over 2007D(WY)-25DER-001T, a 2007 Denver quarter with the Wyoming design. Its TrailDies number reads 2007D for date and mint and WY for the state; the 25 is the quarter, DER denotes the reverse design extension, and 001T marks file 001, ordinary trails. The lines leave the state motto, MING of WYOMING, the year 1890, the cowboy's face, the saddle's pommel, the mane of the horse, the date and E PLURIBUS UNUM, and all run toward the east-southeast (120°). No markers are noted on the middle-die-state coin described. Louie Ledsome of West Virginia found the die. A rotary polishing buff applied to the die is the usual suspect for trails, though some instead blame movement of the die against the hub.
