2007 (D) Wyoming State Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-003

Description

2007-D WY WDDR-003 is a doubled die reverse on the 2007-D Wyoming state quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. On the horse's mane, the doubling sits left of the first lock of hair beneath the saddle horn. On the obverse, a short crack runs W from the bust's front tip, a gouge sits inside the Q of QUARTER, on its right side, and a gouge lies under the M of AMERICA toward its right side. On the reverse, a gouge lies in EQUALITY between the A and L, and another sits over the E of STATE toward its left side. Blair Cutler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
