Description

Doubling shows on the horse’s mane to the left of the 1st lock of hair below the saddle horn. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge left of the I in LIBERTY. Die gouge left of the T in QUARTER. Die gouge left of the T in UNITED. Die gouge left of the last T in STATES. Die gouge below the E in STATES. Reverse: Two small die gouges left of the 1 in 1890. Multiple small die gouges between the 0 in 1890 and the G in WYOMING. Die gouge above the left side of the Q in QUALITY.
