2000D-1DER-004WS Trail Die Reverse

Description

Rather strong wavy steps die, especial for the 2000 decade of the Lincoln cent. Step deviation is seen under columns 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, with emphasis on the right side. The offset direction is 180 degrees.

Die Markers

• Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – none noted.
• Reverse is MDS – small die gouge under the E of PLURIBUS. A die gouge is seen in the first U of UNUM. There are two die gouges around the T of CENT.
