Description
2000-D WDDR-004 is a doubled die reverse on the 2000-D Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling takes the form of an extra knee between the statue's upper legs. Obverse marker: a small gouge on the bust's base, north of the designer's initial B. Reverse markers: a gouge inside the top of the C in AMERICA; small gouges under the C and under the second A of AMERICA; a small gouge beside the last Memorial column's bottom, on its right; a small gouge left of the lower part of the T in CENT; and a small gouge in the lower part of the N in CENT. William Slaughter submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
