1958 (D) Roosevelt Dime - Repunched Mintmark WRPM-010

Description

1958-D WRPM-010 is a repunched mint mark on the 1958-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. Wexler describes it as D/D Tilted (Rotated). The obverse has a Straight G in GOD. A chipped die crack sits on the nose above the nostril, and a NE/SW scratch lies in the field behind the bust. On the reverse, a die chip sits outside the mint mark at its right center. The upper olive leaf has a heavy multi-directional scratch, a slightly curving north-by-west scratch leaves the right leaf of the upper right olive leaves, and a long scratch runs north from the upper left of PLURIBUS's second U. Ben Peters submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as RPM #4.
