1958 (D) Roosevelt Dime - Repunched Mintmark WRPM-009

Description

1958-D WRPM-009 is a repunched mint mark on the 1958-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. Wexler describes it as D/D/D North and Tilted (Rotated). The obverse has a Flanged G in GOD. SSW scratches leave the bottom of LIBERTY's R, a light die chip sits above the nostril, and a die crack runs west from the rim at 2:00 into the hair. On the reverse, a die clash stretches from the lower olive over to PLURIBUS's L, and another shows low on the upper right oak leaves. Heavy NNW/SSE scratches mark the lower left of the reverse, with lighter ones across most of it. Jeff Longeuay submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as RPM #5.
