Description
1958-D WRPM-005 is a repunched mint mark on the 1958-D Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. The secondary D is tilted (rotated) relative to the primary (D/D Tilted (Rotated)). On the obverse, a die scratch heads SW off the chin. On the reverse, a nearly horizontal scratch lies above the left porch; a small gouge (dot) sits above the S in CENTS; and SW/NE scratches lie above OF AMERICA. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
