Description
1957-D WRPM-003 is a repunched mint mark on the 1957-D Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. A secondary D lies west of the primary D (D/D West). On the obverse, a die scratch rises north from inside the O in GOD, at its lower left. On the reverse, east-west scratches cross the MON of MONTICELLO, and lighter east-west scratches lie mostly in the lower field. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as RPM #1.
