Description
1953-S WRPM-008 is a repunched mint mark on the 1953-S Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. A secondary S lies east of the primary S (S/S East). On the obverse, a small die gouge lies right of the upper L in LIBERTY. On the reverse, one gouge sits between the lower E and P of E PLURIBUS UNUM, and another lies right of Monticello's right steps. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
