Description
1953-S WRPM-003 is a repunched mint mark on the 1953-S Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. A secondary S lies west of the primary S (S/S West). On the obverse, in the date, small die gouges lie right of the 9 and right of the 5, near its top. On the reverse, a strong WSW/ENE gouge cuts through the lower first S in STATES. Scott Rusch submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as RPM #2.
