1950 (D) Roosevelt Dime - Repunched Mintmark WRPM-008

Description

1950-D WRPM-008 is a repunched mint mark on the 1950-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. Wexler describes it as D/D North. The obverse has very light N/S scratches, blended together, at the back of the neck, the lips and the nose's bridge. On the reverse, a NNW scratch links the top oak leaf with the F in OF, a short N/S scratch sits at the flame's lower right, and light crisscrossing scratches lie in the field on either side of the torch holder's top. Nicholas Bitetto submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as RPM #2.
