1950 (D) Roosevelt Dime - Repunched Mintmark WRPM-006

Description

1950-D WRPM-006 is a repunched mint mark on the 1950-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. Wexler describes it as D/D Tilted (Rotated). On the obverse, a die crack runs SSE from the rim at 1:00 into the hair. The reverse has a scratch heading NW from inside the R in PLURIBUS and a NW/SE scratch over that R. A die crack leaves the rim at 5:00, crosses the left side of DIME's M and reaches the torch holder's base, and from the upper olive leaves, on their right side, a scratch runs ENE. Tony Russo submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
