Obverse Stage B: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: N/S die scratches about the date; N/S die scratch between the 9 and 4 of date. Strong die scratches on top of head below T of TRUST. Die scratches under beard. Obverse Stage B: All stage A die scratches are weak. E/W die scratch centered between GOD WE. Obverse Stage C: Die chip to the left of the V of VDB. Die chips in the field below the chin. Obverse Stage D: Die chip under nose. Die chip on lower lip. Reverse Stage A: Numerous NE/SW die scratches in the fields. NNW/SSE die scratches through the E of ONE. Reverse Stage B: Nearly all die scratches in the field are abraded away. Die scratches through the E of ONE is abraded away. N/S die scratches through the ED in UNITED and the AM in AMERICA. Strong die scratch on lower right wheat stalk. Reverse Stage C: Most Stage A markers are gone or faint. Reverse Stage D: None noted.
