Description

Obverse Stage B: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Heavy NE/SW die gouge at the upper left hand side of the G in GOD; this gouge is probably from a dropped die. NE/SW die scratch inside the D of GOD. NNW/SSE die scratches through the letters of LIBERTY. N/S die scratches through the area of the back of the beard and neck. Obverse Stage B: Die markers are weaker, especially the scratches through LIBERTY. Obverse Stage C: Die chip in the field above the 4 of date. Obverse Stage D: Die crack running east to west above VDB. Reverse Stage A: Light N by W/S by E die scratches through the O and E of ONE. Reverse Stage B: Die chip on left edge of right wheat stalk right of the last S of STATES. Reverse Stage C: Wavy die crack on right wheat running south from the right lower wheat grains and into the field. Reverse Stage D: Die cracks on left wheat stalk centered.
