Description

Obverse Stage B: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Short die scratches on the top of the forehead. Strong die scratches in the field below UST of TRUST and right of profile. Multiple die scratches about the 1 of date. Strong die scratch on the upper and lower right of the R of LIBERTY. Many die scratches run north from the top of T of LIBERTY. Die scratches to the right of the T of LIBERTY. Small die scratch in the fold of the jacket right of VDB. Obverse Stage B: The entire obverse has fine die scratches running in all directions. N/S die scratches about the mint mark; with a group running from the top of the mint mark to the bottom of the 4 of date. Die scratch runs north from the top of the mint mark ending in the field above the date. Obverse Stage C: east/west die scratch runs between the lower B & E of LIBERTY. East/west die scratch between the RTY of LIBERTY. Reverse Stage A: Two die scratches to the left of the C of CENT. Die scratches run north from the top of N of UNITED ending under the C of CENT. Die scratches run N/S inside the upper and lower E of CENT. Multiple N/S die scratches in the fields left of the left wheat stalk and right of the upper right wheat stalk. Two die scratches run south from the bottom of the left arm of the second T of STATES. Reverse Stage B: Die chip on the top edge of the O in OF. Reverse Stage C: Die crack on upper left wheat stalk running north from the top of the left wheat ending in the field below the E of E PLURIBUS.
