Description

Obverse Stage B: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Strong die gouge at the edge of the rim below IN. Obverse Stage B: Two SSW die scratches from the G of GOD to the hair. E/W concentric die gouges run east to west through IN GOD WE, heaviest through GOD. Very heavy and long N/S die scratches centered above, between and below the B and E of LIBERTY. Series of die scratches run north from the T and Y of LIBERTY. Heavy NNW/SSE die scratches in the field, east and SE of the beard through the 19 of the date. Obverse Stage C: Three die scratches run south from the bottom of the T of LIBERTY. Reverse Stage A: Many arcing die scratches near the rim below the wheat stem. Reverse Stage B: Die scratch from the left wheatear, SSE toward the U of UNITED. Long die scratch south from the left wheatear, west of the O in ONE and running relative toward the left vertical bar of the U in UNITED. N/S die scratches through the E of ONE and the T of CENT.
