Description

Obverse Stage A: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Mint mark position is very similar to WRPM-001 but the secondary is not as wide. Die scratch south from the left lower side of the T in LIBERTY. Light die scratch north from the top of the head running between the letters of WE. NW/SE die scratch in the field east from the eye. Short die scratch west from the left side of the earlobe. Strong secondary mint mark. Obverse Stage B: Stage A scratches abraded away except for the scratch at the earlobe. Weak secondary mint mark. Reverse Stage A: Long, light die scratch from left center of the C of CENT to the E of EPU. NNW die scratch about one-fifth the way down from the left leg of the M in AMERICA to the right lower area of the E in UNITED. Reverse Stage B: Stage A scratches abraded away.
