Description
1887-P VAM-11 Doubled 18-7, 7 in Denticles Discovered by George Mallis, July 1964. 11(revised) III2 11 · C3a (Doubled 18–7, 7 in Denticles) (189) Obverse III2 11– Doubled 18 and 7 in date. The 1 and first 8 are doubled all across the bottom. 7 doubled at top. The first 8 has a die chip between the loops on the left in some specimens. Top of 7 showing in denticles as raised curved bar in denticle space below 7 and raised vertical bar in adjacent denticle space to right. Reverse C3a - Normal die DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # VLDS [[1887-P VAM-11 has a reverse with heavy die erosion pitting especially at America and E—DO (one Dollar).
