Description
1884-O WRPM-009 is a repunched mint mark on the 1884-O Morgan dollar, cataloged by the Wexler team. Wexler describes it as an O/O/O Southwest and West. The obverse shows doubling at the top of the date's 1, which Wexler notes turns up on several dies. A crack runs east from the bust's right side to the 1, another heads west from the bust's left side, and a short crack drops south from the point of the bust. On the reverse, an N/S scratch sits low inside STATES's last S. David Mulberry submitted the variety. Its VAM number is #3.
