Description
Discovery August 2022, Lewis Rosenbaum II 12 • B2o (Die Scratch Through Wing, Engraved Wing Feather) (?) Obverse II 12 - Reverse B2o - Vertical scratch through lower part of eagle's right wing. Early die stage with scratch continuing well into field. Four short gouges at the edge of the wing in the field above the main gouge. R in Trust not Broken. DPIS – In 1878 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # VAM's 1878-S VAM-16, 1878-S VAM-16A, 1878-S VAM-20 & 1878-S VAM-28 share the same reverse.
