Description
Doubling shows on the bottom end of the third feather on the left wing above the ground. Die Markers: Obverse: Die crack with chipping on the base of the bust above the D in DOLLAR. Die gouge on the nose. Die gouge below the T in LIBERTY. Large die gouge above the L in LIBERTY. Die gouge below the A in DOLLAR. Die gouge between the U and S in TRUST. Die gouge below the U in UNITED. Large die gouge below the left side of the R in AMERICA. Reverse: Large die break below the top feather. Die gouge left of the bird's upper left wing. Die gouge extends NW from the upper serif of the mintmark P. Reverse: Thin die crack along the bird’s back and the top feather on it. Large die gouge far above the lighthouse.
