Description
2018-P RI WDDR-010 is a doubled die reverse on the 2018-P Block Island National Wildlife Refuge quarter (Rhode Island) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. Minor doubling appears on the left wing, at the tips of the second and third feathers and the upper end of the second, running beneath the right wing's bottom feather above the ground. On the obverse, short gouges lie just under the B of LIBERTY and just under the first A in AMERICA, and a short vertical gouge sits between the L and A of DOLLAR, level with their centers. On the reverse, a short gouge heads NE from the upper right of the second C of CTC, the designer's initials. George W. Powell, Jr. submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
