Description

Minor doubling shows between the second and the third feathers above the ground on the left wing. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge in the lower opening of the N in UNITED. Die gouge left of the bottom of the first L in DOLLAR. Die gouge below the right side of the E in AMERICA. Small die gouge above the US in TRUST. Small die gouge SW of the last T in TRUST. Long, thin die scratch extends SW from the chin Reverse: A die chip can be found under the top feather on the bird’s back. Die gouge above the left side of the building. Small die gouge above the horizon on the far right side.
