2013 (P) Lincoln Shield Cent - P-1DER-006T Trail Die Reverse

Description

Two directions show on 2013P-1DER-006T. Lines below both pairs of initials, LB and JFM, run at 170°, just east of south, and a second set from the tops of MER in AMERICA runs at 120°, east-southeast. The number gives the year, the Philadelphia mint, the cent (1), TrailDies' reverse design extension category (DER), file 006 and the T of a trail die. Both sides are at a middle state; only the reverse is marked, with a crack near the top left corner of the shield. Joe Koelling found the die. Most attribute trails to polishing the die face with a rotary buff, though others think die-to-hub movement is responsible.
