Description

Trails run from the word TRUST and from the first two digits of the date, 20, on 2013P-1DEO-006T, heading 110°, east-southeast, so the lines on the motto and on the date both point down and to the right. Its file number combines the year and mint (2013P), the denomination (1, cent), the side (DEO, obverse design extension), the file (006) and the type (T, trails). A large crack from Lincoln's brow into his hairline identifies the middle-state obverse; no reverse markers are listed. Joe Koelling found it. Specialists mostly trace trails to die polishing with a rotary buff; others suggest the die moved against the hub.
