The 2013P-5DER-005WSTA Trail Die Reverse is a trail die reverse variety of the United States nickel. This variety was discovered on the 2013 (P) Jefferson Nickel, part of the Jefferson Nickels Return to Monticello 2006 to Date series. Die markers: Stage “A” Obverse is MDS – a small die gouge is seen next to the S in TRUST. There is an absence of flow lines seen in this stage. Reverse is MDS – a small die dent is seen above the last U in PLURIBUS. Stage “B” Obverse is LDS – a small die gouge is seen next to the S in TRUST. Reverse is LDS – a small die dent is seen above the last U in PLURIBUS. This die ( Stage “B” ) was found by G. Daniels. Stage “A” was found by Jim Karnes. .
