Description
On 2012P(SAC)-100DEO-002T, trails run from the bottoms of the LIBE in LIBERTY and from the motto IN GOD WE TRUST at 210°, south-southwest. It is file 002 among TrailDies' 2012 Philadelphia Sacagawea-design obverses: 2012P carries date and mint, (SAC) the design, 100 the denomination, DEO the side and T the trails. Jean Lee found it. The early-state (stage A) coin has no obverse markers, and its reverse is itself a trail die, which TrailDies cross-lists as 2012P-100DER-001T. Trails are put down by most to polishing the die with a rotary buff and by some to the die moving against the hub.
