Description
Light trails can be seen on the EPU, most of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, the end of the right ribbon, the middle band of the shield, T in CENT and designer’s initials (JFM) – trails are strongest on ES of STATES. The off-set direction is 25 degrees. NOTE: Scrutinize all trail-dies with cracks and die breaks on the upper left shield to be sure what you have matches what is shown; it is a common area to find cracks and breaks. This die was found by Louis Schaeffer. DIE MAKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – none noted. Reverse is LDS – long crack and die break on upper left shield edge; cluster of small gouges below left side of shield. Next Page
