Error
Description
TrailDies files 2006P-25DEO-002T with its 2006 Philadelphia quarter obverses; the page sits with the Nebraska quarter, and the entry pairs the die with a reverse trail die, 2006P-25DER-001T(NE). The number reads 2006 with the P mint, 25 for the quarter, DEO for an obverse design extension, file 002 and T for trails. The entry lists lines from E PLURIBUS UNUM and from ARTE in QUARTER, pointing southwest at 230°. At the late die state described, a crack links the lower left of Washington's bust with the U in QUARTER, and on the reverse a small gouge sits left of the P in PLURIBUS. Jay Dunn found the die. Trail lines are commonly credited to rotary polishing of the working die; some hold instead that the die moved against the hub.

- Stage "C", obverse is LDS – a die crack is seen from the left base of Washington's bust to the U in QUARTER.
- Reverse is LDS – a small die gouge is seen to the left of the P in PLURIBUS.
