2000 (P) Jefferson Nickel - Atypical Die Clash ADC-5C-2000-03
Error
Description
ADC-5c-2000-03 is an atypical die clash on a 2000-P Jefferson nickel, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. It carries three separate sets of clash marks; they are hard to tell apart in two of MDC's photos but plain in a third, which shows the marks left by Jefferson's forehead. Other marks come from the base of Monticello; from Jefferson's queue and the back of his neck, the "flames over Monticello"; and from the bottom of his hair, found beneath Monticello, and the back of his head. The coin is in Bob Saylor's personal collection.
