Description
ADC-100c-1886-01 is an atypical die clash on an 1886 Morgan dollar, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. The coin has three separate sets of clash marks. MDC pictures marks made by the eagle, marks from the wreath in front of Liberty's lips, and marks from Liberty's cap and hair, where three closely spaced sets show in each of the three photos. Liberty's throat left marks as well. Two die cracks identify this clashed die: one starts at the F of OF and runs through the tip of the eagle's left wing into the A of AMERICA, and the other joins the tops of the E and D in UNITED.
