Description
Trail lines are seen on the left side of the Memorial building, the motto EPU, the AMER of AMERICA, the EN of CENT and NE of ONE. The offset direction is 300°. This die is considered a major due to the wide spread of trail lines seen. Die markers: Stage “B“, obverse is MDS – none noted. Reverse is MDS – a small die gouge is seen in the O of ONE. A small die gouge is sen above the UR of PLURIBUS. A die dent is seen in the lower part of bay 5. A small die gouge is seen to the left of the T in cent. This die was found by John Rosenberg.
