Description
1995D-1DER-011T is a 1995 Denver Lincoln cent reverse. TrailDies builds the code from the date and Denver mint letter (1995D), the cent (1), DER for a design extension on the reverse, the file number 011, and T for trails. The main lines leave the upper left corners of the motto letters E PLURIBUS UNUM and point north-northwest at 330°, up and to the left. Fainter ones come off AMERICA's ER, the roof's left corner and the upper left of the N in ONE, and the entry draws attention to a trail on an E that runs across another. No die markers are recorded on either side of the middle-die-state coin TrailDies describes. David Miller of California found the die. Trails are usually attributed to polishing of the die with a rotary buff, though some attribute them to the die moving against the hub.
