Description
On 1995D-1DER-010T, trails come from the top right corners of most of the EPU letters, from the AME of AMERICA, and from a few of the column tops on the right, pointing north-northeast at 030°. Its TrailDies number stands for a 1995 Denver cent (1995D, 1) with DER, a reverse design extension, filed as 010 and typed T for trails. David Miller of California found the die. On its stage B reverse, old scratches descend from UNITED's TE to CENT's C, and a die dent sits near the rim under that C; no obverse markers are listed. As usually explained, trails come from polishing of the die face; a few attribute them to the die moving against its hub.
