Description
Moderate trails rise from the tops of the EPU letters on 1995D-1DER-009T, and a single line drops from the lower end of STATES' final S; the offset is 330°, north-northwest. The number gives 1995 and Denver (1995D), the cent (1), its reverse design extension (DER), file 009 and T. Joshua Haynes found it. Small gouges ring the R of LIBERTY on this stage B coin, and a scratch separates AMERICA's C and A. The standard account puts trails down to a die polished with a rotary tool, though some think the die moved on the hub.
