Description

030° D ESCRIPTION : Trail lines are seen from the motto EPU, the ES of STATES and the word OF. The trails are flat and broad giving the letters affected a seemingly extra thickness. This is caused by the hub not being tilted, but laying flat against the die when the die moves. The offset direction is 030° DIE MARKERS: Stage “B“, obverse is MDS – two small die dots are seen below the E of LIBERTY. Reverse is MDS – A die gouge is seen in the upper bar of the E in UNITED. NOTE: This die was found by George Antenucci.
