1987D-1DEO-001T Trail Die Obverse

Description

This is a LDS die that had plating problems with the copper shell to the zinc core. However, trail lines can still be detected from the top of the letters BERT of LIBERTY. DIE MARKERS : Stage “C” – obverse is LDS – the S of TRUST has a die scratch on its lower terminus. Reverse is LDS – An old die gouge is seen to the immediate right of the D in UNITED.
