D/D Tilted Die Markers: Obverse: Stage A: Die gouge under E in LIBERTY. A fine N-S oriented die scratch runs through the upper opening in the E of WE. Stage B: Die gouge under E in LIBERTY still present. Die scratch through upper E in WE still visible. Die gouge left of S in TRUST. Die gouge on lower shoulder fold at 6 o’clock. Reverse: Stage A: A die gouge shows inside the opening of the C in AMERICA. Stage B: Die gouge inside the opening of the C in AMERICA still faintly present. Die gouge right of lower T in CENT.
