1964-D Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-003

Description

A close CCW spread shows on the BERTY of LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: A short strong die scratch can be found on the lower left of the ribbon. A die crack runs across the base of the bust extending into the field and curving NW to the left of the bust and also running into the lower queue. A long die scratch runs NNW from the upper left of the second T in TRUST. A die crack through the upper hair extends into the field below the IB of LIBERTY. A horizontal die scratch can be found between the lower E and R of LIBERTY. Reverse: A die crack runs from the lower I of UNITED onto the eagle’s right wing. Obverse:
